Veritas Academy is a new 6th-12th grade
charter school expected to open in the Fall, 2009.
It is planning to open in District 11,
Colorado Springs, CO.
It will be tuition-free.
The school will open with grades 6-9, adding one grade every year thereafter.
Students are welcome from all surrounding districts.
Special Notice: The founders of Veritas Academy will be presenting their charter petition to the D-11 Board of Education (BOE) on:
August 13 -- about 7:30
August 27 -- about 6:45 (The BOE agenda is very irregular at times, so please be prepared to stay awhile if needed.)
The D-11 BOE will be deciding whether they will have to apply to the Charter School Institute or D-11.
